SHS Re-Opening Date 2026/2026 Academic Year

Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the re-opening date for Senior High School (SHS) for the 2026 academic year. GES stated that academic activities for Senior High School (SHS) will commence on 5 May 2026.

Ghana Education Service (GES) also announce 16th, July 2026 as the closing date of Senior High School for the 2026 .cademic year

Therefore, all the staff, parents, students are advised to prepare before the commencement of academic activities.

SHS Re-Opening Dates 2026/2026

Senior High School (SHS) 1, 2 and 3 re-opening date is scheduled as follows:

DOUBLE TRACK SCHOOLS

SHS 3 Students – Reopening on May 5th, 2026

SHS 2 GREEN Students – Reopening on 1st June, 2026

SHS 2 GOLD Students – Vacating on 29th May, 2026

SHS 1 GREEN Students – Vacating on 15th June, 2026

SHS 1 GOLD Students – Vacating on 4th May, 2026

SHS 1 SINGLE TRACK Students – Vacating on 15th June, 2026
