How To Restrict Who Can Add You to Groups
Spam in groups is a major problem. Whether it’s an overly eager friend who has your phone number or a scammer halfway around the world, you’ll frequently find yourself added to groups you don’t want to be a member of. WhatsApp introduced a new privacy feature in 2023 that allows you to control who can add you to new groups.
Everyone, My Contacts, and My Contacts Except are the three options offered.
