RAMATPOLY is a state tertiary institution of learning in Maiduguri Borno State, Nigeria. It was established by the government of the defunct North-Eastern State in January 1973 as Government Technical College

However, the Management of RAMATPOLY has stated that all Applicants are to take notes of their Admission Requirements before Applying for Admission.
As such, if you are a RAMATPOLY aspirant for the 2023/2024 academic year, the first thing to do is to know their admission requirements before applying.
Admission Requirements
To gain admission into Ramat Polytechnic as a UTME aspirant, you will need to meet the following entrance criteria:
1. You must have obtained a minimum score of 120 in the UTME examination conducted by JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board).
2. You must possess at least five (5) credit passes in your O’Level results, which must include Mathematics and English Language, and any other relevant subjects required for your course of study.
Choice of Course: You must have chosen Ramat Polytechnic as your first or second choice of institution during your UTME registration.
3. You must participate in the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by the institution and must score a minimum required mark in the screening to be considered for admission.

Requirement for Physical Screening
Applicants who choose the prestigious Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic must come along with the following credentials:
1. Online screening slip
2. Physical screening invitation letter
3. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
4. O’level Results of not more than 2 sittings
4. Scratch card PIN for (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GRADE II) or Original Certificates
5. Certificate of Indigene
6. As well as NCE/NDE/IJMB for Direct Entry Candidates.
How to Apply for RAMATPOLY Post UTME
1. Visit the Ramat Polytechnic portal
2. Click on the “Apply Now” button and choose the option “Submit UTME”.
3. Fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents, such as your O’Level results, JAMB result slip, and passport photograph.
4. Use the provided payment options to pay the application fees.
5. After payment, print out the application form and payment receipt.
6. Attend the scheduled post-UTME screening exercise at the institution with your application form and payment receipt.
