A stroke also known as a brain attack is a situation where blood flow to a portion of the brain is cut off. Stroke is among some health conditions that many people are suffering from especially elderly people. Although, many things can cause stroke but studies have shown that stroke can also occur due to some things which many people are taking excessively. So in this article, I will like to share with you some 4 things you should limit the Intake. Research has made it known that too much Intake of these 4 things can lead to a stroke. 1) Alcohol.

One of the things you need to reduce the Intake so as to avoid a stroke is alcohol. This is because too much alcohol causes blood clots to form in the heart. If these clots move up into the brain, it will lead to a stroke.

2) Prepared And Canned Soup.

The second thing you need to reduce the Intake in order to avoid stroke is prepared and canned soup. Prepared and canned soup contains too much salt. The extra sodium causes the body to produce and store more water, which leads to high blood pressure and heart disease and increases the risk of a stroke.

3) Red Meats.

Red meats are also part of things you need to avoid taking excessively so as to avoid stroke. Studies have shown that people who consumed too many red meats had a higher risk of Ischemic stroke than those who typically ate the smallest amount of red meats.

 

4) Processed Meats.

Another thing you should reduce the Intake so as to avoid stroke are processed meats. Processed meats are meats that have been preserved by curing, salting, smoking, drying, and canning. Research has made it known that too much Intake of processed meats like bacon, sausages, jerky e.t.c increases the risk of stroke.
