AdminIn early 2023, the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) will open a portal for an online registration scheme.
PEPT call on qualified and interested applicants should apply Philippine Educational Placement Test early before the closing date.
Those that Qualify to Apply PEPT at the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), DepEd Central Office
a. Learners from nonformal and informal education programs
b. Learners who have incomplete or no record of formal schooling
c. Learners with back subjects
d. Learners who need grade-level standards assessment
e. Learners who are overage for their grade levels
Notes:
i. Per DepEd Order 23, s. 2023, learners from schools without a government permit (and in need of a Learner Reference Number) will not be accommodated at DepEd Central Office.
ii. Due to the existing IATF rules, only applicants aged 15 to 64 years old are allowed to register and take the PEPT at the DepEd Central Office. Those with comorbidities/ immunodeficiencies or pregnant are also not allowed to register and take the test. However, these restrictions shall be automatically adjusted based on the new resolutions issued by the IATF.
Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) Registration Requirements 2023
REQUIREMENTS
- Birth certificate: Issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) or Local Civil Registrar duly authenticated (original and two (2) photocopies)
- ID pictures: Two (2) pieces of identical and recently taken (1×1″ size)
- School records (original and two (2) photocopies):
- Elementary Level – Form 137 or Form 138
- Secondary Level – Form 137
*Form 137 (Transcript of Records with school seal and signature of principal/registrar)
*Form 138 (Report Card with school seal and signature of principal/registrar)
- School permit: Photocopy of School Permit to Operate/Government Recognition (for applicants from private schools)
- Registration fee (non-refundable):
- Regular administration (every November) – PhP50.00
- Walk-in/Special administration – PhP200.00
1. The Department of Education (DepEd) , through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), announces the schedule of registration and administration of the 2023 Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT)
2. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 30 s. 2023 titled Amendment to DepEd Order No. 007 s. 2023 ( School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2023/2024), the 2023 Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) shall be administered in all schools’ divisions nationwide on February 7, 2023. The test will be in a paper-and-pencil modality.
3. Attached is the advanced copy of DepEd Memorandum of Registration and Administration of the 2023 Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT)
4. Immediate dissemination and compliance with this Memorandum are directed.
