Okmalumkoolkat moved to Johannesburg after graduating from college, where he met Doctor SpiZee, with whom he developed Dirty Paraffin.
In 2015 he worked the London production trio LV on their album, Sebenza released under Hyperdub.
Zintle Mbekeli’s “Amakamera ang’shoote” featured Okmalumkoolkat, which received positive feedback. Msizo worked with Zintle Mbekeli, whom she met on Instagram.
