Our continent is the poorest continent in the world, but this doesn’t mean that we don’t have beautiful places in Africa. These beautiful cities in Africa will rub shoulders with some cities in richer parts of the world.

The media always shows pictures of starving children and deteriorated villages as a portrayal of Africa, but not all of Africa is so bad. Many people from other parts of the world, have a belief that Africa is a very backwards place, some even feel that lions roam the streets of Africa. Well, some parts of Africa are really beautiful and amazing.

 

There are many cities in Africa that will destroy the mentality that some people already have about Africa. Let’s take a look at some of these cities.

 

(1) LUANDA, ANGOLA

Luanda is the capital of Africa’s third largest oil producing nation and it is the home to Angola’s main seaport and administrative centre.

Angola’s government is investing heavily to make Luanda more beautiful; they are building large social housing to replace the slums, in which they perform extensive repaving and construction of several highways and large new airports.

 

(2) JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA

Johannesburg is the largest and wealthiest city in South Africa. It is filled with life, culture and many other attractions for tourists.

Lagos is a very beautiful city, probably the most beautiful city in Nigeria. Lagos is a mega city with so many activities that happens on a daily basis. Lagos has played an important role in the history of Nigeria, because Lagos was the home to Nigeria’s colonist and also the capital of the country in terms of Economy.

This is a major city for business and government, Dar Es Salaam is the largest city in Tanzania.

This place is the home to modern office buildings in narrow streets with white washed story buildings, with blue doors. Tunis will make you feel like you are in the Island of Greece or Spain.
