List of Courses/Programmes Offered at Standards Aviation Flying School (SA)
After choosing the approved training organization, one can choosing among the following courses
1. Private Pilot License.
Course duration:
This license permits the holder to act as the pilot of an aircraft privately.
The requirements to obtain the license are determined by KCAA as course duration is between 4-6 months. The number of flight hours required is 45 hours.

Kshs 730,000-1.1M
2. Commercial Pilot License
Course duration:
This license permits the holder to act as the pilot of a commercial airline. The requirements to obtain the license are determined KCAA as course duration is between 8-12 months. The number of flight hours required is 155 hours.
Course cost
Kshs 2.5-2.9M
3. Initial Multi Engine/Instrument Rating
This license permits the holder to get more insights on flying twin engine air-craft and managing an aircraft in varying intense weather with flight instruments. The requirements to obtain the license are determined by KCAA as course duration is between 8-12 months. The number of training hours required is 45hours.
