Lakeview Schools Educational Foundation provides Lakeview students with learning opportunities in three categories: traditional scholarships, non-traditional scholarships, and sports funds.

The scholarship has eleven of it in the traditional category available to graduating Lakeview High School seniors. These scholarships range from $250 to $2,000 each. Two of these are renewable, while some others have renewal potential.

The due time for these applications is March 28 each year.

Three funds provide financial assistance for students to attend sports camps. One is for students in grades 6-8, one is for students in grades 8-11, and one is for students in grades 7-11.

Two non-traditional scholarships are also available: one for adults who wish to attend college or a technical school on either a part-time or a full-time basis.

Eligible applicants must be graduating seniors of Lakeview High School who exhibit leadership, perseverance, above-average grades, perfect or near-perfect attendance, participation in extracurricular activities, and financial need.

Reverend George and Jean Seifert Memorial Fund

The Reverend George and Jean Seifert scholarship are for Lakeview High School graduating seniors and graduates, or residents of the Lakeview School District in Battle Creek who plan to attend college, a university, or seminary school or equivalent.

Considerations are a demonstration of good character, citizenship, the achievement of average or above-average grades.

Also, financial needs may be considered. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to attend seminary school or equivalent and former recipients may reapply. You will be asked to write and submit an essay, brace for it.
