How Do I Log into KTU Connect?
To Sign in to KTU Connect follow the steps:
1. Visit the KTU Connect login page using your preferred web browser.
2. Enter your email address in the designated field. Make sure to provide the email address associated with your KTU Connect account.
3. Then, enter your password in the space marked “Password.”
4. Take care to enter the correct password, as it is case-sensitive.
5. You can select the “Keep me signed in” or “Remember Me” option to keep yourself logged into your account for upcoming sessions.
6. Note that it is recommended to enable this feature only on your personal and secure devices.
7. After double-checking that your email address and password are entered accurately, click on the “Sign In” button.
8. Wait for the system to validate your credentials. If the provided email and password match, you will be successfully logged in to your KTU Connect account.
How to Register for Courses
KTU Connect offers a seamless course registration process. Follow these steps to register for your desired courses:
1. After logging in, locate the “Course Registration” option.

2. Select the appropriate semester or examination session.
3. Enter your registration number and other required details.
4. View your results by clicking the “Submit” button.
Steps for Continuing Students to Activate Connect Portal
All students must activate their Connect portal because the university has converted from SIP (sip.ktu.edu.gh) to Connect Student Information Portal (connect.ktu.edu.gh).
To activate your link portal, follow the procedures listed below.
1. Visit the Connect Portal to access your account.
2. Press the button for logging in.
3. Type your new account’s default password and click Login. Password by default: P@ass4ktu(Note that this default password only applies during the first activation.)
4. Create your new password of choice after logging in, then confirm it for your account.
Note: Your new password must have at least 8 characters, at least one of which must be an uppercase letter, a number, or a symbol. Keep your new password safe and secure so that you can remember it forever.
5. If your password change was successful, you should already be logged in to your account.
6. If you are experiencing trouble with your password, use the “Click here to reset your password” link. Your email will be provided with a link to reset your password.

Resetting Password Using Username

3. The password-reset process can be started by clicking the “Forgot Password” option.
4. Enter your username in the provided field.
5. The “Submit” or “Reset Password” button should be clicked.
6. Follow the instructions provided to reset your password.
7. You may be asked to answer security questions or provide additional verification.
8. You can create a new password after you’ve finished the required procedures.
9. Enter your desired new password and confirm it by re-entering it in the appropriate fields.
10. Save the changes and proceed to log in with your newly reset password.
Resetting Password Using Email
1. Visit the login page.
2. Locate the “Forgot Password” option or link on the login page.
3. The password-reset process can be started by clicking the “Forgot Password” option.
4. Enter your registered email address associated with your account (e.g., korku@ktu.edu.gh) in the provided field.
5. The “Submit” or “Reset Password” button should be clicked.

7. Look for an email from the platform containing a password reset link.
8. Click on the password reset link within the email.
9. A screen where you may create a new password will be opened for you.
10. Enter your desired new password and confirm it by re-entering it in the appropriate fields.
11. Save the changes and proceed to log in with your newly reset password.
