The Jason Lang Scholarship, offered by the Province of Alberta, honors and honours post-secondary students from Alberta for their academic success and motivates them to continue in their undergraduate or professional programs of study.–Jason Lang scholarship Application!
Note: You may only be awarded this scholarship ONE time each academic year.
Eligibility:
For one to be eligible for the jason lang scholarship application he must ensure to meet the following criteria:
Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person (visa students are not eligible), be an Alberta resident.
To be considered an Alberta resident one of the following conditions must apply:
one parent, or legal guardian, must have lived in Alberta for at least 12 months straight before beginning post-secondary studies and have maintained permanent residency in Canada;
OR
Your most recent 12-month residence was in Alberta, which you left right before starting your post-secondary studies;
OR,
Prior to the person attending post-secondary, your spouse or partner had maintained permanent residence in Alberta for a period of 12 months.
the second or following year of an undergraduate program at a University of Lethbridge, and be enrolled full-time (9.0 credits) in such program.
have completed at least 24.0 credits in the previous autumn and spring semesters, translating to a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.2 on a 4.0 point scale.
To be eligible for the award, the Jason Lang Application must be finished before the specified deadline.
be a current student at the University of Lethbridge. The institution where they are currently taking classes will nominate students who are taking classes at another university as part of their uLethbridge degree program.
For grades not obtained at the University of Lethbridge, you must submit a transcript of your academic record if you attended another institution for one or both of the prior autumn and spring semesters. this refers to Students that take classes at different institutions as part of their degree program.

Deadline for Fall Applications: September 15, 2023
Deadline for Winter Applications: January 15, 2023
Co-op students will be evaluated based on matched academic terms; co-op work terms will not be included. Co-op students are encouraged to submit an application each year, and Student Financial Support will decide your eligibility.
