How to check jamb center and date

After a successful completion of the yearly Jamb Registration, a handful of candidates end up being perplexed why their Exam date, Centre/venue and time wasn’t given to them. This has left so many candidates confused and of  course, they’ll be rumour and misinformation.

It is extremely important to know your JAMB exam centre, exam time, exam date, and exam venue early enough to save you the stress of rushing to meet up with time.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have made it very easy for the 2023 JAMB candidates to easily get notified of their exam details. That’s why this article is for you specifically. The body (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) will send your exam date, exam centre, exam time, and day through the examination slip.

It’s worthy to note that, Your JAMB centre, exam date, day, venue, and time will be sent to you 7days (1 week) before your exam day. This will be sent through email or other means, according to your contact details.

Step One

First, to know your Jamb Examination centre and Exam schedule, you will have to reprint your Jamb slip, it’s only on the reprinted Jamb slip you’d find your exam date, centre and time. Visit your jamb reprinting portal Go to Jamb reprint checker page @https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/PrintExaminationSlip using any browser of your choice either google chrome or Firefox.

Step Two

Enter Your Reg Number or Email address or GSM Number

Simply, enter your Jamb registration number, email address or Phone number (this phone number or email address must be what you used to register for Jamb)On the Jamb reprint page.

Step three

Click on Print Examination Slip

When you’ve successfully filled the required box with either your Jamb registration number, Email address or phone number you can then click on the “Print Examination slip“.

Without further Ado, your Jamb examination date, centre and time will be shown to you on the next page.

An example of what you’ll see on your slip;

Your examination center will be indicated based on the town and address and center name. The exam venue on your examination slip will be written in this format:

• Examination Town: For example, Nwaniba/Oron/Etinan in Rivers States.
• Examination Center Name: For example, parker crescent International, No.419 Eheya Street, Power city junction, port Harcourt, Rivers State.

What to do After getting your examination details

After getting all your exam details, kindly make sure you research, make inquiry and trace where your exam venue is, i.e., the state, local government, and even location, as written on the slip.

At this point, we don’t need to tell you to prepare effectively and wait for the exam day.  You know what you have to do to pass by all means.
