Minimum academic requirements

 

In terms of academics, you must have a minimum GPA of 3 on a scale of 4. So, roughly, it will be 65 – 70%.

 

English/SOUTH KOREAN language requirements

 

International students may be required to take an approved English language test for academic purposes as part of their preparation to study in Canada. Before registering for an English language test, ensure that the academic institution to which you are applying accepts the test.

 

The following tests are required for study in Canada:

 

• IELTS test (International English Language Testing System)
• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
• CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program)

 

Other requirements

 

Make certain that you;

 

• Are you a student at a designated learning institution? (DLI-A designated learning institution is a school approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students.) If you are an international student coming from outside of Canada, your DLI must be on the list of DLIs with an approved COVID-19 readiness plan.

 

• Show that you have enough money to cover your tuition fees, living expenses for yourself and any family members who accompany you to Canada, and return transportation for yourself and any family members who accompany you to Canada.

 

• Obey the law, have no criminal history, and obtain a police certificate (if required)

 

• Are in good health and have a medical examination (if required) and

 

• Show an officer that you intend to leave Canada when your study permit expires.

 

Steps to apply for admission from SOUTH KOREA

 

• Choose a program: Begin by deciding on the degree program that is best for you. In Canada, almost every degree program will be taught in English. Degrees are available in a wide range of disciplines, whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student. Canada is internationally renowned for a wide range of programs, including those in the humanities, business, and science.

 

• Prepare the paperwork: A letter of motivation, a recommendation letter, and a portfolio of previous work, if applicable, are among the basic paperwork that is commonly required by all universities. Universities will also require proof of previous study completion. Send an official transcript from your secondary school if you’re starting a bachelor’s degree, or from your previous university if you’re pursuing a master’s degree or higher, to satisfy this requirement. If you are not a native English speaker, you may also be required to pass an English proficiency test.
