1. Job Title: Warehouse Manager

GLAHCO is an Investment Holding Company engaged in the hospitality, real estate and agricultural sectors GLAHCO hereby invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: Warehouse Manager

Summary of Role

• The role holder will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods.
• He will be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.
• Be responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock.
• Specialist warehouses may store temperature-controlled products, such as food and pharmaceuticals, and hazardous materials

As a warehouse manager, you will need to:

• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
• Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
• Make sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
• Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
• Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
• Plan future capacity requirements
• Organise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
• Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Brief team leaders on a daily basis
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in chemicals and food are stored safely
• Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems

Qualification Required & Experience

Although you don’t need a specific degree to become a warehouse manager, the following subjects are particularly relevant

2. Job Title: Administrative Secretary

Summary of Role

• The role holder is responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks
• The role holder will work to coordinate critical aspects of GLACHO leadership team’s workflow and provide assistance to advance core parts of GLACHO’s programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage calendars and meeting requests on behalf of the Managing Director to ensure meetings are updated in a timely manner and status of meetings are provided regularly
• Compile documents, arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries to facilitate the attendance of the Managing Director to travel-related meetings as needed
• Prepare the Managing Director’s responses to routine mamas, letters, or correspondence
• Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents on behalf of the Managing Director
• Answer incoming calls, take messages, welcome visitors, and respond to routine inquiries for information.
• Attend meetings and provide secretarial support by preparing meeting minutes to distribute to attendees, including weekly staff meeting minutes
• Prepare thank you notes, gifts, and other forms of communication
• Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research matters as well as, confidentiality regarding the Managing Director’s personal matters and finances and ensure the appropriate filing and distribution of such data

Qualification Required & Experience

ACADEMIC/ PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of a university degree in Administration or other related field
• A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience supporting a Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer Professional qualification in related field is an added advantage
