My nephew in Ghana wants to join the Service and someone I know who claims to work for the Fire Service charged Ghs1,000 to me to get him ‘recruited’. He also told us we have to pay Ghs3, 5000 more soon to complete recruitment.
This person is now talking about the furtherance of the recruitment process this week. He also roped in another innocent young man who is my nephew’s friend charging Ghs1,000 and demanding another Ghs500 just now.
We are suspicious but knowing how corrupt Ghana can be, know that what is in print is not necessarily how things go. My nephew is an upstanding person characterwise but not gainfully employed, but needs a chance at joining the service. He is not got a degree, but post college eduction – 6 months MARITIME. He just couldn’t go further because of lack of finances. I think he is still a great candidate for the Fire Service.
I am in the UK and want him to be a success in Life as he is so great to people. God bless you.
    Looking forward to your reply/advice
