2. Also, a minimum of 15 years experience relevant to the position, with a minimum of 10 years at a senior management level in a research or analogous institution.

The Person
1. Must not be more than 55 years old at the time of appointment.

4. Initiate new research proposals in accordance with the International Atomic, Energy Agency (IAEA) approved country program framework for Ghana and coordinate research, scientific, technical, and commercial activities at the institute.
5. Enhance the application of nuclear and radiological sciences in healthcare delivery and in the field of education and training for socio-economic development.
6. Also, set the priority goals of research activities within the institute in line with the policies of the GAEC.
7. Drive the research and technical operations of the institute including the commercialization of its research outputs.
8. Hence, develop and implement the appropriate strategies and systems for effective coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of research works within the institute.
9. Ensure a conducive working environment for the publication of the institute’s research outputs.
10. However, ensure the availability of funds for research purposes at the institute.

Qualification Required & Experience.
• A higher degree (Ph.D., BSc, or DPhil) in Nuclear Sciences
