Below is the breakdown of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Academic Calendar 2024/2025
a) Resumption of Students for 1st & 3rd Regular Programme —- Saturday, 24th October, 2023
b) Continuation of Lectures for 1st & 3rd semester is Monday, 26thOctober, 2023 to Friday, 4th December, 2023 (5 weeks)
c) 1st & 3rd semester examination for all programmes 2023/2024 is Monday, 7th December, 2023 to Saturday, 19th December, 2023 (2 weeks)
SECOND AND FOURTH SEMESTER 2023/2024
a) Second Semester Lectures for all students commence on Monday, 4th January, 2023 to Friday, 15th March, 2023. (10 weeks including moderation of Exam Questions)
b) Second and fourth Semester Examination for all programmes Commence on Monday, 22 March, 2023 to Saturday, 3rd April, 2023 (2 weeks)
c) Marking, Moderation of Exam Booklet and Academic Board meet to consider 2nd & 4th semester 2023/2024 results (4 weeks i.e Saturday, 3rd April 2023 to Saturday, 2nd May, 2023)
d) End of 2023/2024 session —- Saturday, 2nd May, 2023.
