Schedule of Fees 2023-2023
These fees include all the regular charges of the University for the full academic year for registration, tuition, libraries and other academic services, athletics, creative arts, and accident insurance.
Students may also access their financial accounts anytime via their WebAdvisor accounts. Fees for 2025-21 should be posted to student accounts during the week of August 17, 2023 for all registered students.

* Per an agreement with the Provincial Government, returning students who are residents of New Brunswick will receive a “New Brunswick Discount” on both the fall and winter semesters that reduces their annual tuition fee from $7,292 to $7,049. (For the purpose of this discount, students who meet the New Brunswick Student Financial Assistance Program’s definition of New Brunswick resident are deemed to be New Brunswick students. In addition, returning students must have been continuously enrolled full-time since the 2018-19 academic year and must be continuing in an undergraduate program in September 2023 to be eligible for the discount.)

Please note that for the 2025-2023 academic year, students living in residence will pay double room fees for single rooms. This temporary adjustment is in response to public health requirements that prohibit the use of double rooms.

Food services are constrained this year by public health requirements for fewer students in residence and the need to centralize these students mostly at Rigby Hall where there are single rooms with washrooms.
- There will be one meal plan in 2023-21 with 14 meals/week. The only dining room will be at Rigby Hall with lunch from 12 noon to 2 pm and supper from 5:30 pm to 7 pm each day.
- The meal plan will be $3,995 and includes $200 Flex Dollars for use at Tim Hortons.
- The Rigby Hall dining room (approx. 20 seats) will have distanced seating so students will be able to sit at a table or pick up their food to go. There will no self-serve stations.
- The Tim Horton’s outlet will open beginning Sept. 9 from 8 am to 12:30 pm Monday – Friday.
There are still residence rooms available. These are single rooms being offered at the double room rate of $5,831. For further information, please contact Residence Services at residencelife@stu.ca.
Please note that if the type of instruction changes from remote to in-person in January 2025 and campus moves to a more normal mode of operation, food service operations and rates will be revisited.

Part-time is defined as registration in six credit hours or less per semester.
The Students’ Union requires all full-time students to pay an annual fee to support student organizations. The students’ union fee is not refundable and is payable on or before registration. Compulsory student fees are the same for Canadian and International students.
A discount of 10% may be available on tuition fees when two or more immediate members of the same family attend St. Thomas University concurrently on a full time basis. This discount is not available to major scholarship recipients or to dependents of university employees.
Applicants who have reached the age of sixty years are eligible to apply for a rebate of 50% of normal tuition fees.
Intersession and Summer Session 2023
Payment of tuition fees for Intersession and Summer Session must be made at the Financial Services prior to the start of classes. Tuition fees are as follows:
3 credit-hour course – $717
6 credit-hour course – $1,434
International Students – $1,458 per 3 credit hours
Audit (non-credit) – half fees
Note: Applicants 60 years of age or older are eligible for a rebate of 50% of normal tuition fees
