    RESIDENTS OF MAINE

     

    Residents of the State of Maine are eligible for Canadian domestic tuition rates while studying at NBCCD.

    Maine applicants may apply to any program open to international applicants, however, applicants to programs that fall under the Maine Community College System and New Brunswick Community College Memorandum of Understanding may apply as Canadian student and benefit from domestic rates.

  • Materials, books & art supplies
    Supplies and materials cost approximately $2,000 annually and vary depending on the Program and course assignments. Many of these supplies are available in our College store.

    Laptop Programs

    Students in the Graphic Design and Photography Diploma Programs are required to purchase their own laptops. The students should meet with the Program’s Coordinating Instructor to discuss what kind of laptop they will need and the computer specifications to meet program requirements.

  • Estimated living expeses
    Living expenses will depend upon individual preference, but here are some estimates of annual costs:

    • Accommodations & Utilities  — $13,200 (based on shared accommodations)
    • Food and incidentals — $6,000 (or more depending on lifestyle)
    • Local transportation — $700-900

    Housing and Accommodation Resources

    NBCCD does not offer on-campus housing. However, we are located in the heart of downtown Fredericton, making it very convenient to find housing and giving you access to many shops, galleries, parks, restaurants and other amenities. Here are some sites to help you secure living arrangements:

  • Method of payment

    Tuition payments can be made online at the following link: goo.gl/USKM7a. Confirmation fee and application fee payments can be made online by clicking “Apply Now” at the top of this page. Payments will also be taken at any Service New Brunswick Service Centre.  You must show a copy of your Tuition & Fees Invoice and/or your Confirmation Fee Notice statement for payments to be processed.  There is a Service New Brunswick Service Centre at 432 Queen St (across the street from the College).  Cheques and money orders are to be made payable to ‘Minister of Finance’. 

    All requests for Confirmation of Enrolment will be processed 3 – 5 days after registration.
