FOREST TECHNOLOGY TUITION & FEES

All students in the Forest Technology program will have the opportunity to take the following optional professional certification courses during their time at the college. Students are strongly encouraged to take these courses as they are the types of certifications useful to forestry and natural resource workers in the workforce. Many of these professional certification courses can be obtained prior to attending the college. Be sure to bring any documentation, including certificates of completion, when classes begin.

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT

Field work is required in all seasons and in all types of weather both at MCFT and in the workplace. Students will spend a significant amount of time outdoors and require suitable personal protective gear and clothing. Below are approximate costs for personal gear required for the Forest Technology program.  Students who already own any of the equipment below are encouraged to bring it with them. Any items are able to be purchased at your local outdoors store.

FISH & WILDLIFE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM TUITION & FEE’S

Below are the costs associated with the Advanced Diploma. Please note that these are costs in addition to the Forest Technology program. Fish & Wildlife Techniques I, II, III and IV are given in the second year of the program. If taking the Advanced Diploma you can apply to student loans for additional funds in the second year. The Professional Certifications can be taken in either your first or second year (dependant on delivery) but must be completed before receiving your Advanced Diploma, the costs are set by non-MCFT organizations and are subject to change.

Important: Students entering the Fish & Wildlife program are required to have the Pre-Rabies Vaccine. Approximate cost for the vaccine is estimated at $650.00. Students have the option to wait until 3rd Semester for this vaccine.
