Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to any degree program, candidates must meet the following conditions:

1. A NECO/WASSCE Certificate, GCE Ordinary level, or an equivalent qualification.

2. Must have Credit Passes in at least four subjects. These passes should be obtained at not more than two sittings.

3. Three of the subjects must be in the Core Science subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

4. Admission will be granted based on the results already submitted; awaiting results will not be considered.

5. Candidates applying for the program with less than five (5) credits will need to obtain five (5) O’level credit passes before graduating from their undergraduate programs.

Admission Deadline

Benue State University admission deadline hasn’t been released yet because of the just concluded /closed admission portal for the last session.

However, the school is likely to reopen for admission in mid-year 2024. Therefore, aspirants for the BSU should get ready to meet the criteria for admission.

1. Visit the school’s official page, and go to “Applications.”

2. Choose “Preliminary Science,” complete pre-registration, and print the form.

3. Take the form to Fidelity or Zenith banks, and pay ₦5,000 with the application number.

4. Return to the portal, click “Preliminary Science,” complete the form, and submit.
