Admission Requirements
To gain admission into Ashi Polytechnic, you need to meet certain requirements. These ensure you are prepared for the admission into the school.
1. Minimum of five O’Level credits in not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to your course of study.
2. For most programs, the required subjects are:
i. English Language
ii. Mathematics
iii. Physics
iv. Chemistry and
v. Biology.
Candidates with ND or HND may be admitted into the 200 or 300 level under the direct entry program.
Applicants are also required to take the UTME and obtain the minimum cut-off mark for their chosen course the cut-off mark varies each year based on available spaces and many applications.

In addition to meeting these baseline requirements, your admission will also depend on your UTME score and your O’Level grades.
You must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in a National Diploma program and at least 18 for the HND program.
How to Apply for Undergraduates
1. Candidates who chose or didn’t choose Ashi Polytechnic as their first choice, but scored up to 140 in the most recent JAMB (UTME) are qualified to apply.
2. The 140 cut-off mark applies to every department.
3. Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for admission, provided their results will be available on resumption.
