School of Nursing Ituk-Mbang Admission Requirements

Requirement for Three Years of General Nursing Programmes1.
General nursing programme admission requirements Candidates for admission into the general nursing programme of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Applicant must possess the senior secondary school certificate or its equivalent with five credits to include English language and either physics, chemistry, biology/health science at not more than two sittings.
Admission Requirements
The candidate must be a registered nurse, have five (O, Level) credits not more than two sittings, and must also meet all institutional requirements.
Also, candidates must have to score at least 100 in the JAMB UTME examination. Duration of Training: Two Calendar Years.

Can I Study Nursing Without WAEC?
The current approved entry requirement is five (5) O’level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language.
Including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings from any of the following: West African Examination Council (WAEC), and National Examination Council (NECO).
What is the Difference Between BSN and BSc Nursing?
The difference in degree designation may relate to the amount of basic science courses required as part of the degree.
However, the BSN and BSN degree curriculums require completion of more courses on math and natural sciences that are more typical of BSc degrees (e.g. calculus, physics, chemistry, biology) and BN.
